Wildside Nails was created for people who want more than rushed appointments and damaged nails. Founded by Alicia Felix — a nail artist since 2007 and salon owner since 2013 — the studio was built with one goal: to create a calm, intentional space where nail health, education, and luxury results coexist.
Inspired by watching her mom — a single mother of five and an undocumented entrepreneur — work endlessly without time for herself, Alicia built Wildside as a sanctuary. A place where clients can slow down, feel cared for, and leave refreshed, confident, and ready to take on life again.

What service should I book?
Don’t stress — we’ll guide you. When you click ‘ Book an appointment’ you can use “Text Us” box on the bottom right and we’ll assess your nails, lifestyle, and goals to recommend the best service for you.
What’s the difference between hard gel, acrylic, and gel polish?
Each product serves a different purpose. Some are best for growth, others for strength or length. We’ll explain your options and choose what supports your nail health and desired results.
How much are nail designs?
Design pricing varies based on detail, length, and time. We’ll always communicate pricing clearly before we start — no surprises at checkout.
How do I know your tools are clean and sterilized?
Sanitation is non-negotiable here. All tools are cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized between every client to keep you safe and protected. You can tell our implements are sterilized because we open a new pouch with every client.
Can you help if I have damage or fungus from another salon?
Yes—sometimes.
For nail damage: We may be able to help if the damage is surface-level and there’s no broken skin, open wounds, or signs of infection, and it’s a nail we can safely service.
For fungus or anything abnormal: No—we do not treat or service nails with suspected fungus. That requires medical care from a doctor, and we’re not licensed to diagnose or treat it
Can I switch from acrylics to something more natural?
Absolutely. Many clients come to us for exactly that. We’ll transition you safely without damage and create a plan that supports healthy growth.
How often should I come in for fills or maintenance?
Most clients return every 2–4 weeks depending on growth and lifestyle. We’ll guide you based on your custom nail journey.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, we do just call 30 minutes in advance to make sure we have time available. We do not do rushed services so its recommended to come with enough time.
How long does an appointment take?
Appointments typically take 60–120 minutes depending on the service and design. We never rush.
Will you tell me honestly if a design or length isn’t realistic for my nails?
Always. We care more about your nail health than trends and will guide you toward what works best for you.
Do you fix a nail if it breaks after my appointment?
Yes. We offer a short grace period for repairs and will go over the details during your visit.
